Shannon came to us wanting to transition her current website into a new, refreshing website that was more aligned with the luxury vibe of her brand. So, we took her brand and spun it into a deliciously inspired website that truly brought together premiere travel and luxury culinary wonders!
For the website, we started with one of our Showit website templates, now available in the GBD shop! The Zara Travel template features beautiful color backgrounds, slanted lines, and overlapping elements that offers a more creative yet simple feel to the entire website. Shannon chose the simplified customization package of our website services, where we keep the full layout of the template but we refresh with her brand colors, fonts, and images.

Travel has always been a big part of Shannon’s life. One of her favorite experiences was a family trip to Rome in 2006. On this particular adventure, her son (who had just learned about ancient Rome in his middle school social studies class) loved sharing with them all the things he’d learned in school about the Colosseum. They shared a gelato at Valentino’s near the Trevi Fountain daily, where the owner greeted them by name, and they sat in the front row at the Papal audience. Seeing Michelangelo’s La Pietà statue in St. Peter’s Basilica (Mary holding the lifeless body of her son, Jesus) in person, literally made her weep — it was so powerful! Those travel experiences were life-changing for her – they sparked her children’s curiosity of the world even more, increased their love of history, and gave their family a chance to slow down and indulge in la dolce vita.
This is the kind of trip she strives to plan for her clients today, always with a touch of “movie magic” thrown in.
