In this episode, I am pulling back the curtain and letting you know where we get our clients in Girlboss Designer. Not only will this be helpful to have an insider’s peek into what’s working for someone else, but also I want to give you some tips on how this can relate to your own business. Knowing exactly where your clients are coming from will help inform where to put your marketing efforts, and where you can put certain efforts to the side and not worry about them for the time being. I have seen where our clients come from shift and change some over the years, so I like to do a review once a year to see what the trend is lately.

I’m going to give you three different categories of data from our client CRM system, Honeybook.

The first is going to be the top three lead sources for us. A lead is different than an actual client. A lead it’s just someone filling out the inquiry form on our contact page, but it does not mean this person actually converted into a client. So while this data is definitely useful, it’s really important to pay more attention to what’s actually converting into clients for your business.

The second category I want to talk about is going to be our top lead value sources. And this is going to mean the actual dollar amount of their project, and knowing which lead sources create the most income for our business.

The last category we are going to review is the actual top client conversion sources. So the actual top lead sources that turn into a converted client. This is probably the most important one to pay attention to because this is what’s actually creating income for your business. I’m going to be going over the top three areas that actually turn into clients for us.

In addition to sharing all this information and data with you, I also want to share my top tips for creating more referrals in your business. Referrals can be HUGE for your business because there is already a trust factor that has been established when someone comes in as a referral. As you’ll see in our top client source areas, referrals are always at the top, no matter what the category is. And so I want to share my insights into creating more referrals.
